Meet The Team
Peter Valabek
Trainer & Owner
My name is Peter Valabek – the owner of MediGYM.
​
I have extensive experience and qualifications in health, fitness and rehabilitation. I am a level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach and hold a Certificate IV in fitness. I have studied rehabilitation and sports injury treatment using the Active Release Technique, including dry needling. I have also studied massage therapy and hold a Bachelor of Law degree from Slovakia.

I am passionate about strength and rehabilitation training. I originally started out in the Slovakian Special Police Force where I developed a passion for strength and fitness conditioning. I then moved to Australia and built an extensive personal training client base and pioneered the ‘Fertility Fit’ program for Sydney IVF. Over the last ten years, in addition to fitness training, I developed and ran the Mosman Sports Injury Clinic.

I specialise in functional training which is important for mobility, balance, strength and flexibility; particularly in over 50’s and completely understand the changing needs of our bodies.
Eva Krejcirikova

I
Originally from the Czech Republic, I traveled extensively before settling in Sydney in 2022. With a background in management and marketing, I transitioned to a well-being career in 2019, earning my first yoga instruction certificate. In 2024, I completed a Diploma in Holistic Classical Yoga Studies at the College of Sports and Fitness in Sydney, and I am certified to teach seniors and NDIS clients.
My passion for sports fuels my dedication to bringing the joy of self-care through movement to others. I specialize in yoga, breath work, and physical exercise tailored to individual needs. I am committed to exercises that improve strength, mobility, and mindfulness.
I offer private yoga sessions, including for the elderly and disabled, as well as classes at schools and for the public. In my personal time, I enjoy ocean swimming, running, horse riding, and spending time with family and friends.
Louiza Menzel
Trainer
My name is Louiza Menzel, I am a Level Two Certified Exercise Professional.

I have been passionate about health and fitness from the age of 16, with a particular love of strength / weight training. I have been exercising in various modalities of exercise for 40+ years and understand the importance of functional strength and mobility exercise, especially for people over 50.
​
I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through my personal trainer of 23 years, Dr. Tony Boutagy. Tony is a premier coach and educator for the fitness industry and I have completed several of his courses and one-day education sessions over the years.
​
I have a keen interest in nutrition and enjoy cooking. I love to keep busy and in my spare time I enjoy playing golf, going for walks, reading, and enjoying family time, among other things.
My vision is to help people, at whatever stage or pace of life they are at, to use exercise to improve their physical health, to get them moving and feeling better, as well as to build confidence in a nurturing and fun environment.
