5 Top reasons to see a Nutritional Medicine Practitioner
1. Prevention and management of conditions
Do you have genetic weaknesses and a family history of disease and other major illnesses? Would you like to have peace of mind that by taking control of the factors you can change, you can positively influence these conditions? As we all know prevention is the key to living a life free of pain and disease and good health is about a culmination of good daily choices.
2. Support your body during illness
Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with an illness? Did you know that what you eat and how you live will have a direct effect on your body’s ability to fight and recover? Let me help you with the most effective ways to manage and/or reverse the progression.
3. Lose weight effectively
Are you fed up of dieting and not being able to keep the weight off? Are poor diet and lifestyle choices making your body decades older than it should be? Let me assess your body composition, fat mass and hydration levels to assist you in keeping your weight off. Being overweight puts you at a higher risk of developing serious conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. Call me to start losing weight and today.
4. Maximise the benefits from your fitness routine
Are you being active and going to the gym – this is only half the battle – without the right foods going into your body, and being assimilated and digested properly you will not reach your optimal state of health. Why put all the effort into challenging your body physically, if you are not going to do everything you can to ensure health from the inside?
5. Increase your energy and sense of well-being
Eat well, feel well and look great. I am one of a select group of accredited healthcare professionals who have received extensive training in maximising healthy ageing and improving vitality, with the scientifically validated ‘Vitality, Longevity and Healthy Ageing program’. Feel younger, gain energy and start your healthy ageing program today. It’s never too late.
Other conditions treated
I see and treat a range of clients with different conditions, including: Digestive disturbances, menopause, andropause (male menopause), blood sugar imbalances, fatigue, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, food sensitivities, immune function, stress management, thyroid health, bone health, healthy eating and many more.

Kate Marsh – Northside Nutrition and Dietetics
At Northside Nutrition and Dietetics we believe that if an eating plan is not something you can
stick to forever, if you don’t enjoy what you eat, if you are hungry all the time and if what you eat doesn’t fit in with your family and social life, you are unlikely to be successful.
Our aim is to help you to develop an eating and activity plan to suit your needs and lifestyle and work with you to set realistic and achievable goals. Whether you want to lose weight, improve your health or manage an existing health problem, we will help you to make sustainable changes which will lead to long term good health and weight management.
We have several dietitians at Northside Nutrition and Dietetics. Each has certain areas of specialty and expertise. Each dietitian has a minimum of 4-5 years of university training, including Masters or Honours qualifications in nutrition and dietetics.
